with composer, Shih-Hui Chen, and pre-concert performance of Ms.
Chen's string quartet, "Mei Hua", by Sinfonia students.
March 2011: Side-by-Side rehearsal with Temple Music Prep's Community
Music Scholars program, Temple University.
Orchestras Feeding America: Sinfonia tops its own previous collection
record in national food drive, contributing over 1,500 lbs of food to
Philabundance.
April 2011: Philadelphia Sinfonia appoints Executive Director Jonathan
Hummel.
Philadelphia Sinfonia confers its most prestigious honor, The
Conductor's Circle Award, on The Reverend Dr. Charles Flood, Rector of

May 2011: Sinfonia performs Mahler's Symphony No. 1 "Titan" at
