2011
January 2011: Philadelphia Sinfonia concert at First Presbyterian Church in Germantown is covered and streamed on WHYY's new online interactive news service.
 
February 2011: Collaboration with Network for New Music: master-class with composer, Shih-Hui Chen, and pre-concert performance of Ms. Chen's string quartet, "Mei Hua", by Sinfonia students.
 
March 2011: Side-by-Side rehearsal with Temple Music Prep's Community Music Scholars program, Temple University.
 
Orchestras Feeding America: Sinfonia tops its own previous collection record in national food drive, contributing over 1,500 lbs of food to Philabundance.
 
April 2011: Philadelphia Sinfonia appoints Executive Director Jonathan Hummel.
 
Philadelphia Sinfonia confers its most prestigious honor, The Conductor's Circle Award, on The Reverend Dr. Charles Flood, Rector of St. Stephen's Church.
 
May 2011: Sinfonia performs Mahler's Symphony No. 1 "Titan" at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center.

June 2011: Philadelphia Sinfonia generates its own Facebook fan page.
