Concert Guidelines

Dress Code
Women

Plain ankle-length black dress with wrist-length sleeves, or a plain ankle-length skirt and plain black blouse with wrist-length sleeves. For concerts after April 1, short-sleeved (not sleeveless) blouses may be worn. Harp, cello, bass and percussion players may wear plain black dress pants and a plain black blouse with wrist-length sleeves. All female musicians wear black stockings and black shoes.

Please avoid distracting items such as colorful accessories, glittery jewelry, slit skirts, plunging necklines, bare backs, midriffs, and form-fitting clothes. Please do not wear garments made of sheer, net, mesh, or see-through material. The effect should be simple and tasteful.

Men Black tuxedo, a white long-sleeve shirt, a black bow tie, black socks and black shoes that hold a shine. Please do not wear any jewelry that might be distracting to the audience.

Performance Details

DATE AND TIME:  Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 3 pm 

PLACE:  Patriot's Theater in the Trenton War Memorial, Trenton, NJ

CALL TIME:  1:10 pm (ready to warm up)

DRESS:    Standard black concert dress.  See member handbook if more details are needed.

SPECIAL NOTE:  Tickets are required.  Tickets will be available at the theater box office, with prices ranging from $5 to $25. 

The theater is not open to the public until 2:30 PM on Sunday. The box office opens at 2:00.
For families who have brought musicians to Trenton for our warm-up, there are various places you can go while waiting for the concert. They include: 1) The lobby and/or coffee shop of the Marriot Hotel, directly behind the War Memorial; 2) The near-by State Museum (free admission): www.state.nj.us/state/museum for location and directions; 2) The Old Barracks Museum, also nearby: www.barracks.org; 4) The Quakerbridge Mall, 15 minutes north on Rt. 1, with food court and shops; 5) Grounds for Sculpture, an outdoor sculpture garden with an indoor cafe in neighboring Hamilton, NJ.
