We accept musicians by audition.
We offer:
Four full orchestra concerts
Three chamber orchestra concerts
Performances with professional soloists
An annual concerto competition for soloists
A varied and challenging musical repertoire
A CD recording every year
Performance tours

Auditions are held at:
St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church

Philadelphia, PA
Applicants should be prepared to:
Play two contrasting movements of a
concerto or sonata without an accompanist
Percussionists should prepare an appropriate solo work / etude
“Contrasting” refers to one technical movement
and one slower or musical movement
No applicant will play an entire concerto during the audition
Sight-read music provided to them
Perform major scales up to 4 flats and 4 sharps
